Allen & Heath dLive C3500 Control Surface MixRack Mixer
Firmly established at the leading edge of the new wave of digital consoles, dLive has rapidly earned its reputation for superior audio quality, next generation workflows, stunning FX and faithful processing emulations. dLive C3500 presents dLive’s phenomenally powerful XCVI Core, DEEP processing suite and Harmony UI in a compact, portable format, making it the smart choice for corporate AV, multi-purpose venues, houses of worship, theatres and regional rental companies.
dLive C Class remains true to the core dLive design mission to create a digital mixing system that makes the most sophisticated mixing challenges feel elegantly simple. From seasoned audio professional to new recruits, dLive has been crafted to allow the operator to keep their focus on the live mixing experience, not on the mixer.
Now with a thriving ecosystem of apps, software, remote controllers and more, dLive C Class is fully equipped to become the centrepiece of your next project.
Harmony user interface yields incredible tactile control
The Allen & Heath dLive C2500 Surface isn’t a digital mixer hiding under an analog-looking surface. It unleashes the full potential of digital, providing you with levels of control that are impossible in an all-analog world. If you’ve used a smartphone or tablet, you’ll find the C2500’s pinch, swipe, drag, and drop gestures familiar and easy to grasp. A dedicated multi-mode EQ view makes sound shaping as easy as wiggling your fingers. Configurable widget areas provide you with quick access to scenes, meters, effects, and more. One-knob/one-function rotary controls and assignable SoftKeys give you immediate control over processing functions.
Incredible at-a-glance visual feedback and transparent workflow
Using the Allen & Heath dLive C2500 Surface is simple. A quick glance tells you everything you need to know. Despite the incredible arsenal of functions available, you won’t find yourself lost in complex menus. You don’t need to adapt to a different way of working to mix on the C2500. Its layout is customizable, so you can create a mixing interface that matches the way you like to work. Every input or mix can be assigned to every bank and/or layer. Virtual scribble strips ensure that all inputs and mixes are clearly named and color-coded. And the C2500’s screen remains visible in sunny outdoor settings.
dLive C Class systems offer impressive levels of expandability
The Allen & Heath dLive C2500, when used in conjunction with MixRacks, combines to form a powerful and expandable system. A dLive C Class system is capable of delivering up to 160 × 64 inputs and outputs, all running at 96kHz. The MixRack is the brain of the system, containing the XCVI core, and is supported by a whole host of surfaces, apps, software, TCP/IP control, and IP remotes, all of which provide different means of controlling the mixer. A 128-channel I/O port supports Dante, Waves SG, ACE, and MADI, along with full compatibility with ME personal mixing systems. At Sweetwater, we’ve found dLive C Class systems to be flexible enough for corporate AV, multipurpose venues, houses of worship, theaters, and more.
