Dedicated buttons for easy control of the Stems.
It’s easy to create live mashups and remixes using the DDJ-REV5’s Stems buttons. Tracks are divided into different Stems in the software, which can be played separately.
New automatic BPM transition.
Mixing between musical genres with very different tempos is easy, thanks to the new Auto BPM Transition function. DJs can choose a number of bars for the transition and, when the dedicated button is pressed, the track currently playing will gradually change tempo to match the track loaded on the other deck, so that the new track can be mixed or inserted at the ideal moment for a smooth transition.
New Piano Play mode.
DJs can express themselves musically on the DDJ-REV5 thanks to the new Piano Play mode. Performance pads can be used to trigger a cue point in different semitones, with pitch changes arranged so that the pads form a keyboard with “white” keys on the bottom row and “black” on the top, just like on a piano.
