The DN9680-MM is the multi-mode optical fibre module that converts the DN9680 from single-mode operation to multi-mode — extending the optical snake from rack to room with industry-standard dual-fibre connectors and a 500 metre operational range. The audio that left the stage hits the FOH desk uncoloured by cable, uncoloured by interference, uncoloured by the kilometres of copper that would have been needed otherwise.
