15″ 2-Way Loudspeaker System
The XS15 is a vented 15-inch full-range loudspeaker system engineered by JBL Entertainment to meet the demands of high-end KTV chains and clubs for powerful low-frequency impact and pristine vocal performance.
For the high-frequency section, the XS15 utilizes the patented JBL 2414H-C 1″ polymer diaphragm compression driver, which delivers crystal-clear highs and midrange vocals while ensuring long-term system reliability. For the low frequencies, JBL designed a new high-efficiency transducer capable of handling high power input while reproducing richer low-frequency energy than competing products in its class. A precision-engineered passive crossover network effectively eliminates band overlap, allowing every sound detail to shine through. The 100° × 70° (H × V) horn ensures balanced coverage throughout the entire KTV room, whether installed in horizontal or vertical orientation.
The XS15 houses all acoustic components within a rugged enclosure constructed from premium MDF (Medium-Density Fiberboard). The layout of components and transducers underwent multiple rounds of precise calculation and simulation to achieve superior frequency response within a more compact cabinet. The system is equipped with multiple high-strength suspension hardware points and a speaker pole mount socket to accommodate diverse installation requirements. The angular front grille is precision-crafted from 16-gauge steel, effectively protecting internal components against foreign objects and liquid splashes. True to the JBL Entertainment family, the XS15 features the signature illuminated logo powered by JBL PSL (Passive Sound Lighting) technology, which stays continuously lit while performers sing into the microphone.
